Thank you to all students who participated in Canning for the Playground and raised $536!!
On Saturday November 21st and Sunday November 29th from 9am – 3pm, NES students fanned out across downtown Newburyport and CANNED for the PLAYGROUND! Students held cans and asked for monetary donations and handed out information sheets about the Schoolyard Rebuild Campaign.
This was a great way for students to help raise money and awareness for the new playground!
*Students 3rd grade or lower need a parent chaperone.
